The last SSDPP research review meeting for 2011 fall semester wrapped up

The last SSDPP research review meeting for 2011 fall semester wrapped up on 10 January 2012. The two research teams that attended the meeting were the Migration and Urbanization team and Philanthropy Education team. Both formed by SSDPP faculty members.

In his report on the team’s work in 2011, Prof. Tian Ming pointed out the importance of a scientific program design and planning. Shang Lifu, representing the Philanthropy Education team, introduced their program in cultivating philanthropic behavior and awareness among primary school students through building an education network of school, family and community, completing corresponding evaluation system, and in the end, via developing philanthropy education textbooks and course.
