女性参政作为社会政治进步和政治文明的重要标志之一，日益成为推动社会前进与发展的重要力量。在当代中国,女性参政不仅是整个社会可持续发展不可或缺的重要内容,而且对民主政治建设具有特殊意义,是实现社会和谐的重要环节。随着我国经济社会的飞速发展和政治文明的逐步提高,女性参政作为一个重大的现实问题日益成为理论研究的热点。在我国女性参政取得很大进展的同时，可以看到女性参政还存在着一些诸如女性参政比例较低、权利虚置、后备女干部队伍薄弱等问题。这里有外在环境的原因，也有女性本身的内在因素在起作用，有历史上形成的传统影响，也有现实中思想观念的因素。
本研究以海淀区为例，通过对海淀女性参政的定量数据分析和对海淀区8位女干部的访谈，主要考察该区女性参政状况，以实证资料为支撑，阐述海淀女性参政的制约因素、主要问题，客观分析导致海淀女性参政现状的原因，并就如何为女性政治参与创造良好的环境与条件提出建议，为改善女性现有参政状况提供依据。
英文题目： RESEARCH ON FEMALE PARTICIPATION IN POLITICS IN HAIDIAN DISTRICT
英文摘要：
As one of the important signs of social progress and political civilization, female participation in politics has been becoming the driving force for social progress and development. In modern China, female participation in politics is not only an indispensable part of the society’s sustainable development, but also has the special meaning to the construction of democratic politics. It is an important part for realizing the harmony of the society. As China is witnessing rapid economic growth and political civilization improvement, female participation in Politics, with its significant practical meaning, has become a hot topic in the field of theoretical research. Although great progress has been made, problems still exists in the fields, for example, comparatively low proportion of female participation in Politics, titular right，shortage of backup female politicians. Reasons lie externally and internally, historically and ideologically.
Focusing on Haidian District of Beijing Municipality, this research studies the situation of female participation in politics in this area, by quantitive data analysis and the interviews with eight female cadres. And, by the substantial material, this research elaborates the constraints and major problems of female participation in politics, analyses the formative factor of current situation of female participation in politics objectively, gives suggestions on how to create a good environment and condition for female participation in politics, so as to further provide reference to improve female participation in politics nowadays.
